鼎石机器人舍的 KAP 课后活动在 16:30 - 17:30 之间顺利举行。活动现场洋溢着活力 和创造力,各个部⻔的教学团队充满热情地与其他团员分享他们的技巧和知识。

Today is December 4, 2023, Monday.
The weekly KAP activity run by KeyBot was successfully held between 16:30 and 17:30! The classrooms were filled with energy and creativity, where learning facilitators from different departments enthusiastically shared their skills and knowledge with others.
Here is a summary of the teaching/robot construction progress in each department:
机械部 Mechanical Department
机械部的教学团队(周鸣⻜、⻰毅宽、张允⻬、⻢泽凯)这周的主要教学目标便是 帮助其他团员熟悉 OnShape 计算机辅助设计工具的基本建模操作。掌握 OnShape 的使用 方式对于任何一支 FRC 战队来说都是必不可少的技能,因为几乎所有自制的 3D 零件都需 要在该软件上进行设计。
The facilitators of the Mechanical Department, consisting of Mingfei Zhou, Clem Long, Ted Zhang, and Henry Ma, has set the main teaching goal for this week to help other team members become familiar with the basic modeling operations of OnShape, a computer-aided design tool. Mastering the use of OnShape is an essential skill for any FRC team because virtually all self-made 3D parts require design work on this software.

本部⻔采用的教学方法便是手把手地带着队员们进行最基本的操作(如设置⻓度/⻆ 度、描边、锁定中线、挤压、拉伸等),然后提供各种难度的图纸让大家尝试复刻。
The teaching approach adopted by our department is to guide the team members step by step through the most basic operations, such as setting lengths/angles, sketching, constraining centerlines, extruding, and stretching, and the like. We then provide various difficulty levels of drawings for everyone to try to replicate.

根据⻰毅宽的观察,虽然大家的能力参差不⻬,但大部分队员都非常乐于与同桌探讨或寻求组⻓的帮助。相信通过本次活动,队员们都练就了许多从未接触过的技巧与操作,而教学团队也巩固了自己的能力。
Based on Clem’s observations, although the skills of the team members vary, most of them are very enthusiastic about discussing with their peers or seeking assistance from the team leaders. We believe that through this activity, the team members have acquired many skills and techniques they have never encountered before, while the teaching team has also strengthened their own abilities.
编程部 Programming Department
编程部的教学团队(戴钰然、韩致知)这周的主要教学目标便是带着其他团员了解里程计的用处、用法以及计算里程计中常用的参数与公式。
The facilitators of the Programming Department, consisting of William Dai and Derek Han, has set the main teaching goal for this week to guide other team members in understanding the essence and commonly used parameters/calculations in odometry.

里程计的算法可以通过测量和跟踪机器人的运动,提供准确的位置和旋转⻆度信 息,用于自动控制、导航和路径规划,实现精确的机器人操作和比赛策略。
The odometry algorithm, through measuring and tracking the robot's motion, provides accurate position and rotation angle information. It is used for tasks such as autonomous control, navigation, and path planning, enabling precise robot operations and competition strategies.
虽然说里程计在 FRC 竞赛中并不是一个特别重要的话题,但两位部⻓认为这是一 项非常基础的技能,并鼓励其他队员课后深入研究更加复杂的计算与控制方法。
Although odometry may not be a particularly crucial topic in FRC competitions, both department leaders believe that it is a fundamental skill for geeks to handle. They encourage other team members to delve deeper into the study of more complex calculations and control methods related to odometry after class.

戴钰然为本节课的主要演示者。正如大家所料,他非常沉迷于带着其他队员推导里 程计中计算位移与旋转⻆度的公式。大家都庆幸于戴钰然本次没有使用任何微积分。
William Dai takes on the role of the main presenter for this class. As expected, he is deeply engrossed in deriving the formulas for calculating displacement and orientation in odometry, while everyone is relieved that there were no use of calculus in the process.
后勤部 Logistics Department
后勤部近期的工作压力较大。在获得天使赞助后,后勤部⻔策划了购买矢量轮的步骤和渠道,以供其他部⻔在今年的复刻项目中使用关键零件。
The Logistics Department has been experiencing increased work pressure recently. After securing angel sponsorship, the department has planned the steps and channels for purchasing swerves as key components for other departments to use in this year's replication/reverse-engineering project.
其次,后勤部部⻓王一伊带领队员们回顾了前几周在学校周边销售的业绩,并计划 在 12 月 7 日推广孟和队员设计的直尺产品。其他组员也开始设计饰品与服装等产品。此 外,后勤部完成了公众号的初步搭建,并且正在策划建设一个线上商店。
Furthermore, the Logistics Department captain, Isabella Wang, led the team in reviewing the sales performance of the past few weeks. After discussion, they are planning
to promote the ruler product designed by Tiger Meng on December 7th. Other team members have also started designing products such as accessories and clothing. Additionally, the Logistics Department has completed the initial setup of a public account and is currently planning the construction of an online store.

值得一提的是,最近学校的 IT 部⻔慷慨地为我们赞助了 18 台 3D 打印机。尽管其 中一些打印机有些受损,但我们机械部和编程部的成员计划利用这些打印机的零件来完成 一个小规模的机器人项目。
It is worth mentioning that, recently, the IT department of the school generously sponsored us with 18 3D printers. Although some of the printers are slightly damaged, members of the Mechanical and Programming Departments are planning to utilize parts and gadgets from these printers to complete a small-scale robotics projects. It is a great opportunity to accumulate some robot-building experience.

Looking back at today's KAP activity, we have experienced the energy and creativity of Dingshi Robotics. The teaching teams from various departments actively shared their skills and knowledge, driving the growth and progress of the team.

The Mechanical Department has enabled team members to master the basic modeling operations of OnShape through teaching, laying a solid foundation for designing self-made parts. The Programming Department has guided team members to understand the applications and calculation methods of odometry, enhancing their ability in autonomous control and path planning. Meanwhile, the Logistics Department is actively planning the purchase of key components and promoting products, while also making efforts to set up an online store, providing more development opportunities for the team.
