As the first snowy day of December arrived, our team faced some challenges with half of our team members falling sick. However, despite these setbacks, we managed to make significant progress in each department.
工程部 Mechanical Department
这周机械组基本上深入讲解了马达原理及理论，包括马达的工作原理、类型、如何解读马达数据表以及在竞赛中通常如何选择马达。
This week, the Mechanical Team delved deep into the principles and theories of motors. They covered topics such as motor operation, types of motors, how to interpret motor data sheets, and the typical process of selecting motors for robotics competitions.
同时，我们还对组员们进行了正式分组，并让每个小组负责分析机器人的不同部分，以便为他们设定明确的目标和任务。这样做的目的是让每个小组能够专注于研究和了解机器人的特定领域，从而提高团队整体的效率和专业水平。通过这样的分工，我们可以更好地利用每个组员的专长和兴趣，并促进协作和知识共享，更好地完成我们的项目。
Additionally, we formally divided the team into smaller groups, assigning each group to analyze different components of the robot. This approach allowed us to set clear goals and tasks for each group, enabling them to focus on researching and understanding specific areas of the robot. The purpose of this was to enhance the overall efficiency and professionalism of our team. By leveraging the expertise and interests of each team member and fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing, we aim to better accomplish our project.
编程部 Programming Department
在编程小组的最近一次课程中，我们学习了如何通过使用摄像头来准确地识别目标位置并进行投球。这些技能在后续的比赛中将非常关键，特别是我们所学的运动控制和视觉识别技术。如果我们能编写出高效的移动控制程序和精准的投球程序，那么未来的比赛将会更加轻松。
In the recent session of the programming team, we learned how to accurately identify the position of targets and perform accurate shooting using a camera. These skills will be crucial for future competitions, especially with the motion control and vision recognition techniques we have been studying. If we can develop efficient motion control and precise shooting programs, future competitions will become much smoother.
这次课程进展顺利，因为同学们都有较好的数学基础，所以理解起原理来并没有遇到太大困难，大家轻松地掌握了基础知识。课后，胡竞文甚至自己编写了一个程序，可以从图片中将类似目标反光条颜色的绿色物体分离出来，为我们后续学习图像识别和抛物线计算提供了很好的起点。
The progress in this class went smoothly because the students had a strong foundation in mathematics, which made it easier for them to grasp the underlying principles. Everyone easily mastered the foundational knowledge without encountering significant difficulties. After class, William Hu even wrote a program that can separate green objects with similar reflective characteristics to our target strips from images. This program provided us with a solid starting point for studying image recognition and parabolic calculations.

We noticed that, since the team members are at similar skill levels and everyone has completed the foundational parts, the efficiency of continuing to deliver knowledge may not be as high as learning through discussion. Therefore, we plan to adjust the content of the next class flexibly based on the competition schedule and our hardware conditions. We encourage everyone to collaborate and prepare for the upcoming competition topic by dividing the tasks.
项目部 Logistics Department
不同的团队成员被分配了不同的任务。王兆麟负责设计新的队标，并提供了几个草稿。其他几位同学继续完成自己的本职工作，包括考勤记录、3D打印机的跟进以及计划后续的甜点义卖活动。
Different team members have been assigned different tasks. Miles Wang is responsible for designing a new team logo and has provided several drafts. The other students continue to fulfill their respective roles, including attendance records, following up on the 3D printer, and planning for upcoming dessert fundraising activities.
我们对甜点义卖的计划进行了调整，决定节省时间并提前准备材料，在学校里组装甜点，而不使用灶台。我们的进展有些滞后，需要加快公众号的建设以提高知名度。

At the same time, this week we successfully completed the purchase of the swerves (MK4i), and we expect to receive the Vector Wheels that everyone needs in the near future. Despite many students falling ill during this period, whether they were at home or at school, everyone has put in a lot of effort. We want to express my sincere gratitude to all the parents for their support in our fundraising and the purchase of the swerves. Together, we are making progress! The cohesion and spirit of cooperation within this team are admirable, and we will continue to strive and work hard to achieve our goals.
